ET Phone Home

Just because I'm a psycho like that, after my gall bladder surgery yesterday, I was determined to keep my Fetal Studio appointment, after all I had that appointment first. And, we are having another boy, whom we will refer to as ET on the blog. Yes, it does stem from his true name, but since the Duchess set the precedent of refering to a fetus as an alien, I thought it appropriate. We are all very excited, since we were leaning towards another boy. Although, I did tell the the sonographer, that he could tell me that it was a boy this time, but, on my next pregnancy if he tells me that, I might cry.

Lakeside, MT and Glacier National Forest

I don't have much to say about our vacation, other than we did a lot of relaxing and 7 days is a long time to spend with all of your in-laws. We only spent one day at Glacier, but I can definitely see why it is the most re-visited of all the national forests, breathtaking. Here are a few photos.

The view from our condos. The condos themselves were not worth photographing. That is Flathead Lake.

"W" loves to go solo on big slides.

"W"s cuz who tried to release him of his middle finger.

"W" roundin' up the herd. (I don't know if he thought we were taking them with us, but he didn't want to let go.)

The bottom of Glacier.

The top of Glacier.

Throwing rocks in the water out back with Daddy.

Having some fun at the park before we hop on the plane.

Bear Paw

My sweet little angel now has a bear paw for a right arm. Not really, but for now, he looks like a burn patient. "W"s cousin, six months older, decided that he could do without one of his middle fingers. And, for the record, whoever designed a drop leave coffee table (toddler height, hello!) needs there head examined, that goes for whoever bought one for the condo we stayed at, as well. I know, I should have been watching closer, but sometimes it just feels better to blame someone else. There were lots of tears from the boy and his mamma, but we are all better now. (Does anyone else have this much trouble avoiding the ER, while on vacation?)

For those of you who can stomach a little gore from a crush/sever injury, we were able to clean it up a bit yesterday and change the bandages, 4 stitches.

PS, more vacation photos to come.

Pankratz Pumpkin Patch

Seattle and Portland

These photos are long overdue. But give me a break, I just cleaned my house for the first time since I got back. It's taken me a while to regroup and get some energy back. After returning home I realized I missed quite a few photo ops, but "W" didn't go unnoticed, as you can see.

"W" found some swords (aka; knitting needles) while being very patient at
Yarnia.

The blankie boy himself at Portland's Veteran Memorial.

Now, that's what I call a swing. Sorry about the blurry photo.

"W" thought Little Sir would look good with a rose in his hair. We visited the Rose Gardens in Portland.

"W" thought that the Court Jester was his long lost cousin and spent most days climbing in his bed or sneaking him food.

Dont' Count Your Eggs Before They're Hatched

Still sick, sorry for the delay in pics. I have good moments, so they may or may not be up soon. They are thinking gall bladder or ulcers. Fun stuff. I can eat applesauce, bread, and frosted mini wheats. Did I mention I HATE applesauce?
