At my request and PBTB's dismay, the outside of the crib is stained dark and the inside of the crib is stained natural.
PBTB never ceases to amaze. His next endeavor is a matching dresser, but he is looking to refinish an existing mahogany dresser, rather than build from scratch, just to speed things along. After that, dining room chairs are in order so we aren't sitting on folding chairs around our exquisite dining room table that he built.
Very cute!!!!!! I love the bumpers to they are great.
ReplyDeleteIt's stunning. Really, PBTB has outdone himself. W. will be the best bedded baby this side of the Mississippi!
ReplyDeleteI love the crib! And the bedding too...you two never cease to amaze me. And I think the two tone stain just makes it more gorgeous...I might have to hire the great PBTB to build me stuff now too!
ReplyDeleteStupid blog.....my comment didn't post. the comment is now out of my head and i am having trouble remember it.
ReplyDeletePBTB this is the best work ever and i really like the light inside and the dark outside. Fabulous. PP no wonder you have a pointy belly W is straining to take a look at his new digs. Guild was fun tonight thanks.
PBTB's talents are simply endless. Yet another beauty to behold. Let him enjoy it in it's pristine condition for now as one day W will inevitably add his own talents to the mix; Please remind PBTB not to be upset at the sight of smeared boogers and pieces of soggy teething cookies upon his masterpiece. All hail PBTB. Much love to all three of you.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive! What a family heirloom!
ReplyDeleteThat is just about the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Just gorgeous, and completely one of a kind! Lucky, lucky baby!
