Envy of the Kingdom

Well, for those of you who don't know, PBTB is quite talented and crafty. I am quite spoiled. He has made all of the impovements to our 97 year old home, not to mention furnished it as well. His latest endeavor is this mahogany dining room table. The chairs are on hold until "W"'s crib is finished. All hail, PBTB.

Princess Sue Turns 2

Yesterday was Princess Sue's birthday. The day consisted of dresses, babies, books, a vaccuum cleaner, a shopping cart, and cupcakes.

No Business Like Show Business

Last night the Yarn Queen and King took PBTB (Prince Bertram the Bad) and I out to dinner at Faustina and then to Hale Center Theatre to see "Little Women". Faustina is managed by a friend of mine from High School, Cody. I highly recommend it to those who haven't had the experience. The performance was excellent. I am ashamed to admit, I have never read "Little Women" (don't know how that happened), but I think I might put it on my list. That would be after I have read all of the baby prep books that I bought. "W" was exceptionally active over the course of the night. He either doesn't care for the theatre or was really excited about it. Bonus, we ran into the Duke's parental units at the theatre. We had a nice visit.

I am now less than a week shy of 5 months (aka: 20 weeks, aka: 1/2 way point). I think I am at the, what everybody calls, "fat" stage. No one can exactly tell you are pregnant, but you are definitely not your pre-pregnancy size. I can still fit into my normal jeans, but I would rather hang out in oversized pajamas all day. I am not quite big enough for maternity clothes, but pre-pregnancy clothes are not exactly flattering. Whatever shall a princess do..........?

Presenting "W"

I have now added "W" to the blog. He likes peanut butter and kicks and gets real excited just after he realizes that I have started eating.
P.S. For the benefit of the nauseated Duchess, I have changed my blog color to the color of "W"s nursery, although this is the best brown that I have on my font color pallette, not the best. "W's nursery brown is more of a mocha brown.

Alas, I give in.

I did it! Princess P created a blog! The Duchess of Yarnnation and the YarnQueen will be so impressed. We'll see how long this lasts. Not that I don't have a million other better things to spend my royal time doing. See, not even any photos.
