Water Works

The last three months have been an emotional roller coaster for my family. I'm not going into any details, but here is a picture of my sweet younger brother and his beautiful baby girl, who is three months old. This was the first time he has been able to see her. He is going to be the best daddy. She looks just like him, light hair and beautiful blue eyes. They absolutely adored each other.

I don't have anything too exciting going on, but here are a few photos.

"W"s first time in the sprinklers, this year. He thought it was very funny to spray Grandma when she was trying to get away with her boot on(she had foot surgery) Yes, that's a weird wooden doll that my Mother has for a sprinkler, she's losing her paint, which makes her even more scary.
And, another picture of the Fatso.

Hey, Hey, Fat ET

I am constantly amazed that my little preemie is getting so big. We have coined the name Fatso when referring to him. He is getting so chubby, I love it! Last Tuesday, he weighed 9 lbs. at 6 weeks. He is averaging about a lb. a week, so hopefully he'll be around 11 lbs. at his 2 month appointment. ET has a very different baby personality compared to "W", he loves to be held and you would swear that he interacts with you when you talk to him. He smiles a lot and he chuckles sometimes in his sleep. "W" has never faltered with his daily kisses and is still very protective. It's so sweet.

Thomas the Tank Engine

"W" has no idea who Thomas is, but he had the time of his life at the Heber Valley Railroad on Friday with the Thomas festivities. We kind of use that term lightly around here. It seems "W" is always having the time of his life.

A Little R & R

Last weekend we took a little trip down to St. George. We usually visit a couple of times a year, but we hadn't been for over 2 years. We had some much needed down time. "W" got re-acquainted with the water and had a ball. He also enjoyed lettin' it all hang out afterwards. ET did his usual and slept a lot.

Incredible Hulk

PBTB had surgery on his wrist the Thursday before Mother's Day. This is part of my excuse for not blogging this month, along with many visitors and technical difficulties. That greenish-blue stuff is cleaner apparently, GROSS! I have struggled feeling like a single parent this month. PBTB cannot lift "W", put him to bed, change diapers, give baths, or do pretty much anything that he would normally do to help keep me sane. Needless to say, I've been a little cranky. Not only that, I've had to nurse him as well. Who's idea was this anyway? Oh well, so grateful to have it behind us.

We Are Not a Cod Fish, JH

My sister and nephew flew in from Seattle for Mother's Day. These are the only photos I got while they were here. We were sooooooo busy, we didn't even really get to hang out......sad.

Mother "May" I?

This is my half-hearted attempt to catch up on my blogging for the entire month of May. "W" playing with his Daddy and cousin the first weekend in May. I can't remember the reason for the get together, maybe there wasn't a reason.
