As I was sitting in Sacrament meeting this afternoon, this quote from Joseph F. Smith came to my mind, just wanted to share.
"one of the greatest sins of which the inhabitants of the earth are guilty today is the sin of ingratitude"
I am so grateful for everything the Lord and his servants provide me with on a daily basis. I am grateful for my family and most of all my husband, a selfless servant to everyone he comes in contact with. I am so lucky to be married to this wonderful man.

8 Months Young
Today "W" turned 8 months old. He has finally mastered crawling, after army crawling for the past couple of months. He has also mastered pulling himself up to a stand whenever he gets a chance. He is still working on walking around whatever piece of furniture he has managed to stand up against. He usually only takes a few steps. He is getting taller, but not gaining a lot of weight. He has only gained a pound or two in the last couple of months. He still smiles and sticks out his tongue all the time. I love this age, it is so exciting. I don't think that I have ever been so proud. I could beam at him all day long. He has started teasing, sitting up on his own, giving kisses, and experiments standing with no hands while leaning against something. (FYI: It snowed here today, hence the sweater & beanie. I considered screaming incessantly until Spring weather arrived, but then decided against it.)
I rotated this picture and it didn't carryover when I downloaded it to Blogger, I didn't want to fight with the computer tonight, so you are just going to have to turn your head.

Teething Cures & Other Randomness
So, don't go calling DCFS, but a trip around the yard on the fourwheeler seemed to cure "W"s teething fit.
Do you really have to wonder why I'm choosing to stay home? I can't get enough of him. Cute sweater that the Duchess bought him at ShopKo of all places, great find.
As I mentioned earlier, I participated in my first online swap. This is what I received in the mail today. I love getting packages in the mail, it's like Christmas. Cute stuff from JJ Cole.

Up to No Good
My little man always has his tongue out......especially when he's concentrating. He just learned to pull himself up to a stand in his pack n' play. He's so silly. He has so many smiles.

Tangled & True Layette Swap
Against my better judgement, I decided to participate in a layette swap through Tangled & True. I should know better than to add something so unnecessary to my horrendous to-do list. But, as it turns out, I am so thankful that I did. The deadline is tomorrow and I am so very proud to announce that I am done knitting my cute little Kimono and Booties. They are knit in Lion Cashmere. I think that working on something for someone else has been the only thing keeping me sane this last week. I am excited to find out if my swap partner likes it.
