We escorted "W" to his first ever circus yesterday. Ok, ok, usually he is the circus, but we thought he could learn some new tricks. It wasn't the Barnum & Bailey, but anything that can keep "W"s attention for over 2 hours is a success in my book. He enjoyed it far more than I had anticipated. Here we are with the cousins during intermission, checking out the elephants, mini horses, bear and spray painted poodles. He was very impressed with the guy that stacked up a dozen chairs and did a head stand on top of them. He gave him a round of applause. Should've known.
In other news.....
"W"s ever-expanding vocabulary and actions now includes good, k, see, grandpa (now with a g, instead of a b), pointing to his eyes, ears, and mouth and calling me by my first name to get my attention.
We bought a new car the other day, pictures to follow when PBTB gets around to detailing it.
I am now 28 weeks pregnant, (or 7 months for those non-mommys who are annoyed by pregnant people and moms who speak in weekly terms for their pregnancies and monthly terms for their children, even after they turn 1). This pregnancy is flying by.
"W" continues to climb on everything he can, periodically breaking things at Grandma's as he goes. BTW, does anyone have any other ideas for getting their exhausted children to go to sleep. He has been in his pack n' play for over an hour now and that's after laying with him for 30 minutes. It's becoming a habit. He's not crying, just yells my name periodically. Maybe his voluntary release of his bottle wasn't such a great thing. We have already tried playing music. He is defective and rarely falls asleep in the car either. Where did this kid come from? I guess I will just go and get him.
